Everyone moves at their own pace in this business. I have had some clients own property in the first six months and others that have taken years to get their first deal completed. Do what is right for you and don’t worry about what anyone else tells you!
Sort of. Every Monday night all my students meet for a group Zoom call. I call it the Monday Night Live call. The topics change every week. Sometimes there will be a guest speaker, other times, I will teach and other times, we may have an hour of going into different breakout rooms where you can hash out ideas with other students. One of the greatest benefits to my program is that I WANT you to become friends with other members of the MFOS program. These people will become your partners, investors, buyers, sellers and most importantly, friends!
Yes. The guarantee is for the mentoring program only. If at the end of the 12-month period, you have not acquired a multifamily property and have made at least 10 offers on multifamily property, then we will pause any additional payments from you until you have acquired that first property. The additional payments are for the MFOS Marketing program. You will continue to receive those services at no additional cost as part of the guarantee.
Yes! AS a member of the MultifamilyOS Mentorship system, you will have Charles’ cell phone number and can contact him whenever you have a question or a deal-related matter. Though Charles is an attorney, he is not your attorney. Regardless, he will look, act and feel like an attorney. That means that if you are having an issue, you cannot wait two weeks until the next scheduled coaching call to get the matter resolved. You need to do it NOW. Pick up the phone and call. In no time, he will answer your questions and solve your problem. In addition, you will not send out a Letter of Intent or a multifamily Purchase and Sale Agreement without Charles reviewing it first. That also includes analyzing a deal. He will look over your shoulder every step of the way. If you need to speak to a broker but you don’t yet feel confident in your knowledge or abilities, he will jump on the call with you and get you over that hurdle.
No. Your Customer Success Manager will be your advocate through the coaching program and will make sure that all your needs are being met. For any matters regarding a deal or funding or dealing with customers, you will only deal with Attorney Charles Dobens directly. No assistant coaches.
No limit. That’s right. Call whenever you need him. No client has abused his time yet. You will not be the first. But seriously, there are no regularly-scheduled coaching calls. As Charles will tell you, he’d rather have death by a thousand paper cuts than have regularly scheduled coaching calls. His time is best used answering a question and getting you on your way.
Investing in real estate is not a prerequisite for owning multifamily property. Many successful investors have started in a different field altogether yet succeeded as a multifamily owner/operator. One common characteristic for these types would be their experience as business owners. As Charles teaches, the actual real estate is nothing more than a factory that produces a product that needs to be sold. If you can operate a business, then you can run a multifamily property.
